National Constitution Center in Philadelphia Premiers “14” the Movie
Anne Galiski, is co-producer of “14”, a documentary on the 14th Amendment and the understanding of citizenship throughout the history of the United States. Her passionate production covers two U. S Supreme Court cases involving Dred Scott and Kim Wong Ark along with a current snapshot of what the immigration and citizenship issues involve today. Descendants of Dred Scott (Lynne M. Jackson), Kim Wong Ark (Sandra Cho) and Vanessa Lopez, a young girl who is a citizen yet her mother is undocumented, are featured in the film.
Wayne Glasker, Associate Professor at Rutgers University-Camden, lead a post-screening discussion with Supreme Court litigator Elizabeth Wydra and the extraordinary families featured in the film, including a descendant of Dred Scott. This discussion will be carried live.
The principals were joined on the stage after the viewing of “14” by Supreme Court litigator Elizabeth Wydra and moderator, Wayne Glasker, Associated Professor at Rutgers University Camden for a Q&A with the audience.
